We faced a potential and mounting state tax liability. Mr. Litwin has unique expertise in state and local taxation. He was able to hone in on the state tax issues that we faced and without having to spend unnecessary time (and fees) researching our issues. Mr. Litwin listened to our facts and developed a plan to minimize our potential tax liability through getting a ruling from the state taxing agency. Mr. Litwin then executed the strategy efficiently. During the process, Mr. Litwin updated us typically before we even asked for an update. He is a consummate professional.

My multistate business was audited by a local board of tax assessors in Metro Atlanta, and the appraisal values were incorrect. I retained Richard Litwin, and he had to familiarize himself with not only the audit/case but with the way my business operates, entity names, etc. To make matters more interesting, I communicated with Richard remotely from the West Coast. I tend to work late hours and because of the time zone difference I would send him emails or call him at the oddest hours. Irrespective of what time of the day it was, I would get a confirmation and/or response from him. It was comforting to know that Richard was there to care of us.
Also, through Richard’s hard work, my company got a great outcome. He can really do his best work when you, as a client, also provide him with the information he requires. I would hire him again.
